Mahindra Finance launches #HerVerse
The campaign turns the real stories of women employees into spoken word poetry

To commemorate International Women’s Day, Mahindra Finance has launched #HerVerse, a campaign that brings the lived experiences, journeys and voices of women employees from across the organisation to the forefront through spoken word poetry. Through #HerVerse, Mahindra Finance shifts the focus from symbolic celebration to authentic representation, stated a press release.
Mahindra Finance built #HerVerse around a co-creation process that connects the company’s women employees across functions and geographies, with poets. Each poet engaged in direct, one-on-one conversations with women employees of the company, listening to stories of ambition, resilience, challenge, growth, and solidarity. Such conversations shaped every verse of the poems which were presented.
The campaign draws entirely from personal narratives shared by employees across the organisation from frontline roles to leadership, creating a collective expression that reflects the diversity and depth of women’s experiences at work. Mahindra Finance conceived #HerVerse as an original intellectual property, with the campaign set to return each year with new voices and new verses, building a living archive of women’s stories.
