Gursimran Kaur Mehar has started a new stint with Bloomberg News, joining the organisation as Breaking News Editor. She shared the news in a post on LinkedIn.
In her post, Gursimran said she was excited to join Bloomberg News as Breaking News Editor and looked forward to taking on her new responsibilities.
Before joining Bloomberg News, Gursimran spent around three and a half years at Reuters. From November 2025 to August 2026, she served as Senior Correspondent at the organisation. Prior to that, she was a Correspondent from August 2023 to October 2025 and worked as a Trainee Correspondent – Global News Monitoring from February 2023 to July 2023.
She has worked as a Breaking News Reporter covering South Asia and has experience in news writing, breaking news and editing.
