According to him, the upcoming Lok Sabha elections will see a lot of brands and agencies move to the digital space to save money, while maintaining reach and audience engagement.

“Today, brands want to achieve business goals through social and digital media, which they could not or found it hard to achieve through traditional media. The initial fascination with the social platform will be replaced by a growing maturity as brands start asking questions about sales figures and customer service,” said Mehta.
