ImagesBazaar, the world’s largest collection of Indian stock photography has filed a copyright infringement suit against BLB Institute of Financial Marketing (BIFM). The suit for Copyright Infringement was filed at the District Court, Delhi and is pending disposal.
South East Central Railway has invited bids from OOH agencies for awarding sole ad rights or a period of three years for display of commercial advertisements at earmarked locations in the circulating areas and station approach roads at the Bilaspur railway station.
The 25th London International Awards judging was held at the Wynn/ Encore Hotel in Las Vegas, convening over a 10-day period. This year, six agencies from India have been recognised for their superior entries – McCann Worldgroup, Leo Burnett India, Ogilvy India, Bates 141, Creativeland Asia and Rediffusion Y&R – winning a total of seven statues at the 2010 London International Awards.

In a first of its kind corporate branding exercise, Jagran Prakashan Ltd (JPL) is rebranding its corporate identity. JPL’s new corporate identity is being unveiled on November 10, 2010. The new logo – a rising sun – has been designed by Ray+Keshavan and lends a distinctive identity and unified face to the group as JPL seeks to create a seamless identity across the breadth of offering and scale.
Star One has chalked out some aggressive plans to beef up its programming. The channel is planning to go six days a week with all its shows by November 20, 2010. This apart, the channel has also lined up four new shows. Launched in 2004, not much action had been seen on the Star One front in the past couple of years.
OMD India has added three new businesses to its kitty. The agency has bagged Cleartrip.com and SAH Petroleum businesses following multi-agency pitches. The agency has also added Paramount Farms. Meanwhile, OMD’s digital arm too has won a slew of new businesses. Sources peg the combined account size of the media AoRs and digital wins to be in the vicinity of Rs 70-75 crore.
Car manufacturer Honda Siel Cars India Ltd is on the verge of launching a new small car in the Indian market and has launched the hunt to zero in on a creative agency that will handle this new brand. According to senior sources in the industry, it is an invitational pitch.
