Doordarshan has lined up a new devotional series, ‘Guru Manyo Granth’, to commemorate 300 years of Gurta Gaddi Divas of Siri Guru Granth Sahib. The seven-part daily series goes on air on DD National (DD1) from October 24 at 8.30 pm and will cover the entire history and philosophy of Siri Guru Granth Sahib.

Based in The Taj Mahal Palace & Tower in Mumbai, the series take a peek-a-boo look, juxtaposing the worlds that co-exist in a hotel.
Consolidating its proposition of ‘Clarity in a Complex World’, HDTV-ready English news channel NewsX has embarked on a new marketing campaign. Conceptualised by Euro RSCG, the first leg of the campaign has print ads, which would be followed by a 360-degree campaign. The campaign broke on October 17.
Narayan Kumar, Executive Director and Head of Disruption Practice at TBWA\India, has put in his papers. Kumar has confirmed his movement, but refused to divulge his future plans. His departure comes close on the heels of Sean Colaco and Gopinath Menon moving out from the agency.
VK Chopra, who has over 30 years’ experience in the newspaper industry, has been recently been elected as President of the Delhi Ad Club for the year 2008-09. This is the third time he has been given the mantle of the Delhi Ad Club President. He takes charge from outgoing President Vivek Syal, who is General Manager-Marketing at Hero Honda.
