Tamara Ingram, the chairman of Wunderman Thompson, is set to leave the creative, data and technology agency, according to media reports. Ingram, who was formerly the global chief executive officer of JWT after its merger with Wunderman, may depart the agency by the end of the year.

She joined Wunderman Thompson when the agency was going through some tough times. Ingram took over from Gustavo Martinez, who was being sued for sexual harassment by Erin Johnson, the then Chief Communications Officer of Wunderman Thompson.

In the early years of her career, Ingram joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 1985, where she worked for 16 years. She rose through the ranks, becoming the CEO in 1995 and executive chairman in 1999.

She has also worked for agencies such as McCann Erikson, Kantar, Grey and P&G and WPP.
