Charanjeet Singh Arora has resigned from his position as CEO of Kinetic India.

The development has been confirmed to exchange4media by Arora. When asked about his future plans, Arora said, “We all know what the market situation is like at the moment due to COVID, so as of now, I do not have anything in hand. Since the time the pandemic has started, I’ve been staying alone in Gurgaon and at the earliest opportunity I’ll be moving to Indonesia where my family is.”

Arora has been a part of Kinetic India since November 2017 as Senior VP. He is also responsible for driving team transformations spanning media, office automation, and logistics. He has partaken in multiple roles across organizations within the Indian media landscape. A media specialist with more than 25 years of expertise, he had been in the past associated with Star Group, Sahara Media, Lintas Media Group, BCCL, and Reliance Entertainment. He has also been an integral part of media agencies like the Interpublic Group and Dentsu Aegis Network.

Arora's resignation comes months after then Co-CEO Rachana Lokhande stepped down in June this year. After Lokhande left, Ajay Mehta was appointed the MD of Cinema (ITV) and Kinetic (OOH). All the leadership teams of Kinetic India now report to Mehta.
