The initiative aims to unite policymakers, Chief Data Officers (CDOs), Data Protection Officers (DPOs), CISOs, and AI experts in advancing responsible innovation, privacy-led design, and sustainable data governance.

The AI–privacy Nexus: Governing Data in the Age of Intelligent Machines
This opening session delved into the intricate relationship between AI innovation and data privacy. Panellists explored how machine learning models amplify privacy risks such as bias, hallucination, and data drift, while debating the balance between transparency and innovation. The discussion also examined how India’s DPDP Act aligns with global frameworks like GDPR, PDPA, and CCPA, and the evolving roles of DPOs and CISOs in AI governance. Experts envisioned India as a leader in creating indigenous standards for responsible AI–privacy integration.

Cyber Resilience & Digital Trust – Building the India Model
This thought-provoking discussion examined how India is crafting its unique model of cyber resilience and digital trust in the post-DPDP era. Panellists discussed the integration of ISO/IEC 27001 & 27701 with India’s indigenous security frameworks, strengthening DPO–CISO collaboration, and embedding Privacy by Design into national digital systems like Aadhaar, ONDC, and UHI. The session celebrated Indian innovation in privacy-enhancing technologies and secure digital ecosystems, underlining that data privacy and cyber trust are key drivers of India’s digital economy.

Global Data Governance 2030 – The Next Frontier
The final session envisioned the future of global data governance, focusing on interoperability, ethics, and the evolution of privacy in a borderless world. Panelists debated whether “One Data World” is achievable, emphasizing the DPO’s shift from compliance custodian to strategic business enabler. Discussions touched on data monetization, privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs), zero-trust models, and global trust certifications such as ISO 31700, NIST AI RMF, and OECD principles. The panel underscored India’s readiness to play a central role in shaping the next decade of global privacy and AI governance.
