Ashwin Padmanabhan, Chief Operating Officer, WPP Media South Asia, has been roped in as part of the Executive Committee.  He will lead execution excellence for clients and strengthen the ecosystem of partners & marketplaces-across media planning, buying, and emerging verticals such as Commerce, Performance, Content, Sports and Influencer Marketing.

In his existing role as Chief Operating Officer at WPP Media South Asia, Ashwin Padmanabhan is focused on driving integrated growth across key domains such as Commerce, Content, Influencer Marketing, and Sports. 

With a sharp eye on execution and scalability, he plays a critical role in streamlining operations and enhancing planning and buying efficiencies across the business.

In his previous role as COO at GroupM South Asia, Ashwin was instrumental in consolidating diverse service verticals—Investments, OOH, Content, Trading, and Entertainment—into a unified, client-centric offering.

Before joining GroupM, Ashwin held senior leadership positions at Reliance Broadcast Network, where he oversaw 92.7 BIG FM at the national level, and Reliance Industries, bringing rich experience from the intersections of media, content, and business strategy.

A seasoned leader with a knack for operational transformation, Ashwin continues to shape WPP Media’s delivery and performance at scale.
