WPP is formalising its transition from GroupM to WPP Media South Asia, unveiling a new leadership architecture for South Asia. One of the leaders on the Executive Committee is Praseed Prasad.
As President – Growth & Marketing at WPP Media South Asia, Praseed Prasad leads strategic initiatives focused on expanding the agency’s business and marketing footprint. In his dual role as Chief Growth Officer and CMO, he is responsible for unlocking opportunities across startups, SMBs, and emerging markets, while also spearheading WPP Media’s outcome-driven approach.
With a rich career across Google, Flipkart, and Wipro, Prasad brings deep experience in digital media, brand marketing, and global partnerships. At Google, he helmed APAC agency partnerships and EMEA operations, while at Flipkart, he led the Ads Agency Business, driving media growth at scale.
He also brings valuable perspective from his previous role at GroupM, where he managed digital investment and trading in India—giving him firsthand insight into the dynamic media-tech evolution in the region.
At WPP Media, Prasad is steering the company’s next phase of growth—fuelled by data, creativity, and a sharp focus on client outcomes.
