What Buyers Should Know About the New Sierra
1. What variants, engine options and mileage does the new Tata Sierra offer?
The Sierra is available with three powertrains, allowing buyers to choose based on city use, performance preference or fuel efficiency:
- 1.5-litre naturally aspirated Revotron petrol engine - Approx. 15–17 km/l
- 1.5-litre gasoline direct injection Hyperion - Approx. 13–15 km/l
- 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel engine- Approx. 18–20 km/l
(Official ARAI-certified numbers will be published closer to deliveries.) The new Tata Sierra will be offered in seven trims across its 1498 cc petrol and diesel line-up, with both manual and automatic transmission choices available. The trim range includes Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished, and Accomplished+.
All trims except the entry-level Smart+ will be sold in six colour options — Pristine White, Pure Grey, Coorg Cloud, Munnar Mist, Bengal Rouge and Andaman Adventure. The Smart+ variant will be limited to the first three shades.
