  • Sangita Durbha Gopinath has been appointed as National Manager – External Communications at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), returning to the corporate sector after over a decade in agency leadership.
  • In her new position, she will be part of HCCB's Public Affairs, Communication and Sustainability (PACS) team, focusing on external communications and storytelling for the company.
  • Gopinath previously worked at PR Pundit for 11 years, where she held the role of Director – Growth & Business Initiative, and has experience in marketing and client engagement from her time at Affine Analytics and LivLife Hospitals.

Sangita Durbha Gopinath has joined Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) as National Manager – External Communications, marking her return to the corporate side after more than a decade in agency leadership.

In her new role, Gopinath will be part of HCCB's Public Affairs, Communication and Sustainability (PACS) team, supporting the company's external communications mandate and storytelling efforts across stakeholders.

Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Gopinath shared, “After 11 years on the agency side, I've finally crossed over yet again. I've joined Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages as National Manager – External Communications. A week in already, I can tell this is going to be an exciting ride to be a part of the Public Affairs Communication and Sustainability PACS Team.”

Reflecting on the transition, she added, “For a company with the kind of scale, reach and cultural imprint that HCCB has, the opportunity to shape and tell its stories is pretty special. There's so much happening, and even more to build. Moving from advising brands to now being part of one is a big shift that I'm really looking forward to everything that comes with it.”

Gopinath joins HCCB after an 11-year stint at PR Pundit, where she most recently served as Director – Growth & Business Initiative. During her tenure, she played a key role in business development, client engagement, and strategic communications, working with brands across sectors.

Prior to PR Pundit, she was Head – Marketing & Client Engagement at Affine Analytics. She has also held the position of Vice President at LivLife Hospitals.

With over 15 years of experience spanning public relations, marketing, business growth, and corporate communications, Gopinath brings a strong blend of agency and in-house expertise to her new role at HCCB.
