Anjali Gupta has joined as Manager, Communications at the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM), an initiative of the Election Commission of India (ECI).
In her new role, Gupta will lead communication and outreach efforts for India’s Chairship of International IDEA, as well as for the IIIDEM initiative.
Her responsibilities will include developing and executing integrated communication and outreach strategies for global and domestic audiences, while highlighting India’s experience in electoral management and democratic practices on international platforms.
Gupta will also oversee media engagement, digital and social media presence, and stakeholder communication. Her role will further involve supporting international partnerships, knowledge-sharing and capacity-building initiatives in democracy and election management.
The appointment comes as India continues to strengthen its engagement on electoral management and democratic practices through international platforms and partnerships.
