Vedanta Group has appointed Abhilasha Gupta as Head of External Communications.
Gupta is a seasoned corporate communications and public affairs leader with over a decade of experience shaping brand narratives, media relations, and stakeholder trust for major global organizations.
She recently completed an eight-year tenure at Tech Mahindra, where she served as Global Head of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs. She has played a key role in the organization's transformation journey, a high-profile CEO transition and the launch of the Tech Mahindra Global Chess League.
Prior to this, she held communications leadership roles at HCL Technologies, The Practice, NDTV 24x7 and Hindustan Times.
A gold medalist and all-India topper from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (English Journalism) and University of Delhi (English Literature), Gupta has been recognized among the Global 200 Power Leaders in Marketing & Communications, named Corporate Communications Professional of the Year at the Adgully ImageXX Summit and honored with Exchange4Media's PR and Corp Comm 40 under 40 award, among other accolades.
