  • Yatnesh Pandey is leaving his position as Vice President of Marketing at Greenply Industries after nearly five years, during which he focused on consumer engagement, digital growth, and market expansion.
  • He played a significant role in modernizing the brand's marketing strategy, launching the campaign "Greenply: Har Zarurat Ka Reply" and enhancing brand visibility through partnerships, including with the IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants.
  • Pandey initiated community-led projects like 'Hindustan Ki Shaan,' which recognized contractors and skilled professionals, attracting over 100,000 participants and emphasizing the importance of workers in the industry.
  • With a background from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and over 20 years in marketing, Pandey is expected to continue his career by helping lesser-known brands gain mainstream recognition.

After spending close to five years at Greenply Industries, Yatnesh Pandey is set to move on from his role as Vice President of Marketing. His tenure came during a key period for the company, as the brand focused on stronger consumer connect, digital growth and expansion in the competitive home interiors market.

Pandey joined Greenply with the responsibility of strengthening growth marketing and leading the company’s digital transformation efforts. At a time when customer behaviour was rapidly shifting towards omnichannel engagement, he played an important role in modernising the brand’s marketing approach.

During his stint, he introduced the campaign “Greenply: Har Zarurat Ka Reply,” aimed at making the brand more relatable to everyday consumer needs. He also helped expand the brand’s visibility through its association with the IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants and supported the launch of Greenply’s MDF category with the positioning “Powered by AI – Prod IQ.”

Apart from mainstream campaigns, Pandey also focused on community-led initiatives. One of the standout projects was ‘Hindustan Ki Shaan,’ an awards platform created to recognise contractors and skilled professionals across India. The initiative attracted participation from more than one lakh people and highlighted the contribution of workers who help bring brand promises to life.

Sustainability remained a major focus throughout his work. Building on purpose-led campaigns he had earlier worked on at Kansai Nerolac Paints, Pandey continued to push environmentally conscious messaging at Greenply through initiatives like GreenRise.

An alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad with more than 20 years of experience in marketing, Pandey is known for helping emerging brands and categories gain wider consumer attention. Industry observers believe his next move could once again involve scaling lesser-known brands into the mainstream market.
