Media industry veteran Vikas Khanchandani’s consulting contract with Dangal TV is set to end; e4m has confirmed this development.

Khanchandani has been associated with the network as an advisor and has played a strategic role in the growth of Dangal TV and the broader network. His contribution has spanned business strategy, distribution and the evolving digital and FAST ecosystem.

Khanchandani already has a strong consulting portfolio across the media and entertainment industry. In addition to his other advisory engagements, he is also consulting with Deepak Dhar-led Banijay Asia, one of the country’s leading content production companies.

The development has also sparked industry speculation over whether Khanchandani could take up a consulting role at YAAP Digital following Raj Nayak’s appointment as Chairman and Managing Director.

Khanchandani and Nayak share a long professional association dating back to their time at Star India, where Khanchandani began his media career working with Nayak on sales and marketing strategies. However, there has been no official confirmation from either Khanchandani or YAAP regarding a possible engagement.

With more than 25 years of experience across broadcasting, digital media, advertising technology and content distribution, Khanchandani has held leadership positions at Republic TV, Reliance Broadcast Network, NDTV Media and AIDEM Ventures. He is also Co-founder and Director at eSENDIT and serves as a Strategic Advisor to MiQ.
