The Sleep Company has named Udhaya Shankar M as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Prior to this appointment, he was Head of HR Operations at Metro Brands Ltd.
Udhaya has over 17 years of experience in human resources, having worked across prominent retail and consumer-focused organisations. His background spans key areas including talent acquisition, employee engagement and capability development, as well as rewards and HR analytics.
In his new role as CHRO, Udhaya will lead The Sleep Company’s people and culture strategy. His focus will be on strengthening the employer brand, building future-ready talent and improving the employee experience across stores, warehouses and corporate teams.
