Damian Kim has been appointed as Vice President – APAC at Pinterest. He announced his new role through a LinkedIn post, sharing that he will officially take charge on February 23.

Kim brings over 15 years of experience across the Asia-Pacific region, having worked closely with diverse markets, ambitious brands, and high-performing teams.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Damian Kim said he firmly believes that APAC represents the future and is eager to collaborate across the region to unlock new growth opportunities for Pinterest.

He highlighted the region’s fast-paced markets and innovative mindset as key drivers that can help turn bold ideas into impactful outcomes.

“On February 23, I’ll be joining Pinterest as VP of APAC. After more than 15 years working across this region, I’ve seen firsthand how ambitious brands, fast-moving markets, and great teams can turn big ideas into even bigger outcomes. I believe deeply that APAC is the future and am excited to partner across the region to help unlock its potential for Pinterest”, he said in his LinkedIn post.

Prior to this, Damian Kim was with Meta as Managing Director, Head of Product - APAC. 

Kim is a business leader with over two decades of digital, media, and technology sales experience, including Meta in Singapore & Southeast Asia, the Gaming business for Facebook in Greater China Region, the Surface business & key OEM partnerships for Microsoft in Asia Pacific.
