KFC has appointed Suhayl Limbada as the Chief Marketing Officer for India and Partner Countries, including Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

Suhayl brings nearly 20 years of experience in marketing and business leadership. Over the years, he has worked with YUM! Brands and global companies such as Kraft Foods and Mondelez International.

Before taking up this new role, Suhayl served as Market Lead and Chief Marketing Officer for KFC Thailand. Earlier, he was part of KFC South Africa, where he played a key role in refreshing the brand and driving strong double-digit growth through innovative campaigns and culturally relevant marketing initiatives.

Speaking about his new role, Suhayl said India is one of the most exciting and challenging markets in the world because of its scale, diversity and changing consumer preferences. He shared that his experience in Thailand helped him understand business leadership beyond marketing and taught him the importance of trust, teamwork and adaptability.

He added that his aim is to build a stronger emotional connection between consumers and the KFC brand while encouraging a culture of curiosity, business understanding and bold thinking within the organisation. According to him, creative and people-focused ideas will continue to set KFC apart and help drive long-term growth.
