Fintan Gillespie, who spent nearly a decade at Snap, has joined Pinterest as UK & Ireland Managing Director.
He shared the news of his new role through a LinkedIn post, announcing that he will officially join the platform on September 18, 2026.
"I’m excited to share that I’ll be joining Pinterest as UK & Ireland Managing Director on September 18th. After nearly a decade at Snap, this marks a big new chapter for me, professionally and personally, as my family and I make the move back to London from Los Angeles", the LinkedIn post read.
"I’m looking forward to working with our talented team, alongside our advertisers and agency partners, to build on the strong foundations already in place across the UK and Ireland and help more brands connect with people on Pinterest in relevant and meaningful ways", he added.
Prior to joining Pinterest, Fintan Gillespie was with Snap for close to 10 years. He last held the role of Global Director, Ad Partnerships Group at the company.
Gillespie is a global advertising and revenue leader with 17+ years of experience building and scaling digital advertising businesses, leading commercial teams, and helping brands and agencies unlock growth through technology.
