- With over 20 years of experience in communication and strategic marketing, she will also join the WPP Creative EMEA leadership team to help develop the regional operating model.
Simona Maggini has been elevated to the position of CEO at WPP Creative Italy. She announced her new role through a LinkedIn post.
“I'm happy to share I have a new role as CEO WPP Creative Italy,” the LinkedIn post read.
As per the company's strategy update, WPP is creating a lean regional leadership team to develop the WPP Creative operating model. This model will support creative, design, and PR agencies, including VML, Ogilvy, Burson, AKQA, Landor and others. In Italy, Simona Maggini has been appointed CEO of WPP Creative, representing all the iconic agencies within WPP Creative. The goal of the model is to enhance collaboration, expand capabilities, and make it easier for our clients to access our extensive talent throughout every agency.
Simona Maggini will also continue in her role as Italy Country Manager of WPP and Executive Chairwoman of VML in Italy, ensuring continuity in the local leadership of the network. In her new role, she also joins the WPP Creative EMEA leadership team, contributing to the development of the regional operating model.
Maggini is in the communication and strategic marketing business for over 20 years and is passionate about brand building to deliver business results.
