  • Sanjay Bahadur, Executive Vice President and Head of Group Strategy and Business Development at Nestlé, will retire at the end of December 2025 after over 40 years with the company.
  • He has held various leadership roles in markets including India, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Türkiye, and China, and has been responsible for portfolio strategy and key initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions.
  • Following his retirement, the mergers and acquisitions function will be transferred to Nestlé's Chief Financial Officer, Anna Manz.

Sanjay Bahadur, Executive Vice President and Head of Group Strategy and Business Development at Nestlé, is set to retire at the end of December 2025, bringing to a close a professional journey of more than four decades with the company. Over the years, he has held multiple leadership roles across markets including India, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Türkiye and China.
 
In his current role, Bahadur has overseen portfolio strategy and led key initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, venture fund activities, external collaborations, and licensing partnerships.
 
After his retirement, responsibility for the mergers and acquisitions function will transition to Nestlé’s Chief Financial Officer, Anna Manz.
 
Commenting on his departure, Nestlé CEO Philipp Navratil expressed his appreciation for Bahadur’s long-standing service. He said the company is grateful for Sanjay’s significant contributions, highlighting his strong values, collaborative leadership style, and commitment to integrity. Navratil added that the entire organisation wishes him success and fulfillment in the next phase of his life.
