Amitava Sinha joins Rediffusion as Managing Partner for Eastern India

Rediffusion Brand Solutions has appointed industry veteran Amitava Sinha as Managing Partner to lead the agency's operations across eastern India.

Sinha brings nearly four decades of experience in marketing and communications, spanning brand management, advertising and consulting.

He began his career with FMCG company Reckitt Coleman (now Reckitt Benckiser) in a marketing role before moving into advertising, where he held senior leadership positions at agencies including JWT, McCann Erickson and Bates.

This marks a return to Rediffusion for Sinha, who was associated with the agency between 2003 and 2015 in various leadership roles. He served as Chief Operating Officer from 2011 to 2015, working closely with Chairman Diwan Arun Nanda.

Following his stint at Rediffusion, Sinha worked as an independent consultant, advising organisations across sectors on branding, corporate communications and public relations.

In his new role, Sinha will oversee Rediffusion's business and growth initiatives across the eastern region.

Sreeparna Sengupta who heads Rediffusion Kolkata will continue to lead the operation, and will going forward work with Sinha.
