Pinkustar Borah has been appointed Chief Digital & Technology Officer at Unilever International, taking on his first role outside India.
Borah has spent nearly two decades with Unilever. He shared the update on LinkedIn, saying, “19 years in Hindustan Unilever Ltd - so many different roles - from a factory IT job to heading multiple IT functions - and there's still so much to learn, explore, and grow into. Which brings me to my first role outside India: Chief Digital & Technology Officer, Unilever International.” In his new role, he will be based in Singapore.
Borah has nearly two decades of experience in information technology. During his career, he has worked across several key business functions, including supply chain, human resources and employee experience, legal, and sales.
Prior to his elevation, Borah served as Chief Digital & Information Officer – Personal Care & Customer Experience at HUL.
He joined the company as an IT Executive in 2007 and has held several senior roles over the years.
