Pavitra Gupta joins InMobi as VP and GM - India

Pavitra Gupta has joined InMobi in an India leadership position as VP and GM - India, exchange4media has learnt.

Gupta joins the adtech company after a three-year stint at venture capital firm RTP Global, where she worked with early-stage companies and founders across India and Southeast Asia. She announced her departure from RTP Global earlier this year after joining the firm in 2023.

exchange4media reached out to the InMobi team for confirmation and further details on the appointment but had not received a response at the time of publishing.

Gupta brings over 15 years of experience spanning consumer internet, ecommerce, product management and investing. At RTP Global, she worked with portfolio companies on areas including business scaling, P&L management, customer acquisition and retention, and product-led growth.

Before moving into venture capital, Gupta held leadership roles at Flipkart, where she launched and led multiple businesses. She subsequently worked on Walmart's US ecommerce business, heading a suite of competitive intelligence products.

Earlier in her career, Gupta spent six years with the Tata Group as part of the Tata Administrative Services programme. During her stint with the group, she launched TCS' first edtech product and led buying and merchandising for Helios at Titan.

Gupta holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, and an engineering degree from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad.

Founded in 2007, InMobi is a Bengaluru-headquartered advertising technology company that operates across mobile advertising, monetisation and consumer technology. 

Its businesses include InMobi Advertising and Glance, an agentic commerce platform now. The company works with brands, agencies, publishers and app developers across global markets, with a significant presence in India, Southeast Asia and the US.
