Norm de Greve has announced he will step down from General Motors in June.

In a LinkedIn post, de Greve described his time at GM as “the work of a career”, signalling that he will soon move on to a new venture, details of which are yet to be disclosed.

He was named as the Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer in November 2025. De Greve joined GM as Global Chief Marketing Officer before moving into his most recent role.

Prior to that, he served as Chief Marketing Officer at CVS Health from 2015 to 2023, and spent over a decade at digital agency Digitas in various leadership positions. His early career included roles in investment management and management consulting.
