Muthoot FinCorp appoints Manoj Kumar Mauni as Chief Technology Officer

Muthoot FinCorp Ltd., the flagship financial services company of the Muthoot Pappachan Group, has appointed Manoj Kumar Mauni as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

This appointment is a part of Muthoot FinCorp’s continued focus on strengthening technology capabilities to support business growth, innovation, and customer experience.

According to a release, Manoj Kumar Mauni brings over three decades of professional experience, including more than 25 years in Banking, Financial Services C Insurance (BFSI), and over 15 years in executive leadership roles. He has led large-scale digital transformation initiatives spanning technology strategy, cybersecurity, cloud transformation, core banking modernisation, enterprise architecture, enterprise risk C fraud management, innovation and large-scale program delivery.

At Muthoot FinCorp, Manoj will lead the organisation's technology strategy and drive the development of a future-ready technology architecture aligned with the company's long-term business objectives. He will focus on strengthening digital capabilities, modernising enterprise platforms, enhancing cybersecurity, and leveraging technology to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and innovation across the organisation. He is also an expert in enterprise risk C fraud management.

Prior to joining Muthoot FinCorp, Manoj served as Chief Information Officer (Telecom) at Bharti Airtel, he also served as the CTO at Bandhan Bank and held leadership roles at Kotak Mahindra Bank and Kotak Life Insurance, driving large-scale digital transformation across core banking, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise platforms.

An Engineering graduate from BITS Pilani with a Master’s in Financial Management from JBIMS, Mumbai, Manoj has been recognized among India's Top 30 CTOs and is the recipient of several prestigious industry awards.
