Julia Beizer, who is currently serving as Bloomberg Media’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), will be exiting the company after an eight-year tenure, ADWEEK reports. The publication further suggests that Beizer will be taking up a new role at Microsoft.
At Microsoft, Beizer will reportedly lead the company’s AI news product. She will work under Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman. Beizer has not disclosed details about her new role but confirmed to the publication that she is departing Bloomberg Media.
Beizer joined Bloomberg Media in 2020 as Chief Product Officer and Global Head of Digital. After just over a year, she was elevated to the role of Chief Digital Officer, a position she held for nearly three years. She was subsequently promoted to COO, a role she has held for more than a year and a half.
Previously, Beizer also worked at HuffPost and The Washington Post.
