Ashish Rai, who previously served as Chief Business Officer – Decorative Paints at JSW Paints, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the company's Decorative Paints division, effective July 2025.
In his new position, Rai will assume full responsibility for the profit and loss of the decorative paints business. He joined JSW Paints in 2024, where he led the sales and marketing operations for the decorative paints segment.
With over two decades of experience in consumer goods, B2B e-commerce and digital transformation, Rai brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.
Before joining JSW Paints, Rai spent 18 years at Unilever, holding senior leadership roles across multiple regions, including India, Asia, Africa and Latin America. He led digital initiatives in 23 markets, managing a €16 billion business, and spearheaded efforts to digitise small retail operations. Rai also served as Managing Director at Unilever Nepal Limited and held roles in modern trade and retail transformation.
Earlier, he started his career as a software engineer at Infosys and later worked with Colgate-Palmolive.
