Jamal Shaikh has stepped down from his role as Chief Operating Officer, Lifestyle Media Businesses at the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group (RPSG Group).
Shaikh was brought in February 2023 to design a lifestyle media group for the conglomerate and created RPSG Lifestyle Media, but exited nearly three months ago. He launched four magazines in three years, including The Hollywood Reporter India, Esquire, Robb Report India (a title he had earlier launched in India as Editor), and created the homegrown title, Manifest.
Shaikh designed business models across media platforms, appointed revenue heads and editors, and created a fresh new approach to lifestyle journalism.
During his term, RPSG Lifestyle Media became a formidable voice in the luxury and lifestyle space.
