- Henkel has appointed Pradhyumna Ingle as the new Country President for India, while he retains his roles as Global Head of Infrastructure Protection & Repair and IMEA Head of Manufacturing & Maintenance at Henkel Adhesive Technologies.
- Ingle brings over 25 years of experience across various markets, including India, Asia Pacific, North America, and the Middle East and Africa, and succeeds S. Sunil Kumar, who will now focus on strategic projects in the IMEA region.
- Ashraf Elafifi, President of IMEA at Henkel, emphasized India's importance as a growth market and highlighted Ingle's leadership skills and global experience as key factors for his appointment.
- Ingle aims to leverage Henkel's brand portfolio and technologies to support India's rapid growth in sectors like manufacturing and digital technologies, while enhancing the company's market presence and innovation capabilities.
Henkel has appointed Pradhyumna Ingle as its new Country President for India. Along with this responsibility, he will continue to serve as Global Head – Infrastructure Protection & Repair and IMEA Head – Manufacturing & Maintenance at Henkel Adhesive Technologies.
Ingle brings more than 25 years of experience, having worked across key markets including India, Asia Pacific, North America, and the Middle East and Africa. His global exposure and leadership experience will support Henkel's growth plans in India.
He succeeds S. Sunil Kumar, who led Henkel India over the last five years. Kumar will now focus on strategic projects across the India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA) region while continuing in his role as Director – Packaging, IMEA.
Announcing the appointment, Ashraf Elafifi, President, IMEA, Henkel, said India remains one of the company's most important growth markets. He added that Ingle's strong leadership, global experience, customer-focused approach, and proven ability to drive business transformation make him well suited to lead Henkel India's next phase of growth.
Speaking about his new role, Pradhyumna Ingle said India is witnessing rapid growth across manufacturing, infrastructure, mobility, electronics, energy, and digital technologies, creating significant opportunities for innovation. He noted that Henkel is well positioned to support this growth through its strong portfolio of brands, advanced technologies, and close partnerships across its Adhesive Technologies and Consumer Brands businesses.
He also said he looks forward to working with Henkel's teams across India to strengthen the company's market presence, expand local innovation capabilities, and deliver sustainable growth for customers, employees, partners, and communities. He added that the company will continue developing solutions that contribute to India's industrial and economic progress.
