Saurabh Goel, Havells India's Executive President and SBU Head (Cables and Switchgear), has stepped down from his role. He submitted his resignation on Tuesday, December 31, the company stated in a National Stock Exchange (NSE) filing.,
The company has also attached his resignation letter in the NSE filing. "After 8.5 years of service, full of learning and enrichment, I would like to pursue other opportunities outside the organization and would like to resign from the position of Executive President and SBU Head (Cables and Switchgear)," Goel stated.
Goel was associated with Havells India for about 9 years. He had joined as Executive Vice President & SBU Head in February 2016 and went on to take several leadership roles.
Saurabh Goel is a Senior Management professional with over 28 years of work experience. In his previous stints, Saurabh Goel was with Bharti Airtel, Hughes Escorts Communications Limited, among others.
He completed his Bachelors’ in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and masters’ in Business Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
