  • Gaurav Kumar Dewani has been appointed as Executive Vice President – Times Influence Sales at Times Network, as announced in an internal communication.
  • He will report to Ashish Sehgal, CEO of Times Television Network, and will be based in Noida.
  • Dewani returns to Times Network from NDTV, where he served as Revenue Head – Content, and previously held a senior role at Times Network focused on branded content.

Gaurav Kumar Dewani appointed Executive VP– Times Influence Sales

 

Gaurav Kumar Dewani has been appointed Executive Vice President – Times Influence Sales at Times Network. The news has been announced by the company in an internal communication.

In his new role, Dewani will report to Ashish Sehgal, CEO – Times Television Network and CGO – Media & Entertainment, and will be based out of the Noida office.

He returns to Times Network with a mandate to lead the Times Influence Sales function and strengthen the company’s focus on IP-led revenues, branded content, entertainment, and news monetisation under the Times Influence umbrella.

Dewani rejoins the network from NDTV, where he served as Revenue Head – Content. During his tenure there, he led content-driven brand solutions and drove integrated monetisation initiatives across general and business news platforms.

He has previously worked with Times Network as Senior Vice President and National Head – Branded Content, where he played a key role in building large-format intellectual properties and enhancing monetisation across news and entertainment portfolios. His familiarity with the organisation and industry relationships are expected to support the company’s next phase of growth.

With an Executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and over two decades of experience, Dewani has worked with leading media organisations including Zee Entertainment Enterprises, The Walt Disney Company (Bindass), Network18 Media & Investments, and Hindustan Times. He brings strong expertise in commercial strategy, IP monetisation, and scaling branded content businesses.
