ELLE DECOR India has appointed Ela Das as its new Editor. She will lead the magazine’s editorial direction across print, digital and its wider platforms
A former corporate lawyer turned journalist and editor, Ela began her publishing career with Condé Nast India before going on to become the founding Digital Editor of Architectural Digest India.
For over 22 years, she has built a distinctive body of work exploring the people, places and ideas shaping design and culture in India.
Her work has taken her across India and abroad, reporting from homes, studios, galleries and creative communities and exploring the stories behind them.
With Ela at the helm, ELLE DECOR India looks forward to deepening its conversations around design, architecture, interiors, art and culture, while continuing to champion the people and ideas shaping the way India lives today.
