Sony Pictures Networks India has named Devika Prabhu as Business Head – Hindi Movies.
Prabhu shared the development in a post on LinkedIn, noting that the move represents both a fresh beginning and a return to familiar ground. Earlier in her career, she spent several years at the network working on strategic planning for Sony Entertainment Television.
Prabhu has over 20 years of experience in the media and entertainment sector. Over the course of her career, she has held several senior leadership positions across major media companies, including Disney Star and JioStar.
Most recently, she served as Vice President and Business Head – Kids, Youth & Infotainment TV at The Walt Disney Company. In her previous stint at SPNI (then Multi Screen Media/SET India), she served as Asst. Vice President - Strategic Planning and Research.
