- Priya Dogra has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of Channel 4, set to begin her role in March 2026.
- Currently, she serves as Chief Advertising, Group Data & New Revenue Officer at Sky, with over 20 years of media experience across the US, EMEA, and the UK.
- Dogra has a strong background in operations, programming, strategy, and business development, previously holding senior positions at Time Warner and Warner Bros. Discovery.
- Channel 4 Chair Geoff Cooper praised her commercial expertise and vision for digital transformation, while Jonathan Allan will continue as Interim CEO until her start date.
Channel 4 has appointed Priya Dogra as its new Chief Executive.
Priya currently serves as Chief Advertising, Group Data & New Revenue Officer at Sky and has over 20 years of experience in the media sector across the US, EMEA, and the UK. Her expertise covers operations, programming, production, strategy, M&A, and business development.
In her present role at Sky, she leads Sky Media, oversees the company’s data and analytics functions, and drives non-subscription revenue initiatives. She also led the launch of Universal Ads, a collaboration between Sky, ITV and Channel 4, with support from Comcast’s FreeWheel. The initiative aims to make TV advertising more accessible for small businesses through a self-serve platform.
Before moving to Sky, Priya worked for 14 years at Time Warner, later WarnerMedia, and Warner Bros. Discovery. Her most recent role was President & Managing Director for Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA, where she was responsible for programming, production, marketing, advertising, partnerships, streaming, theatrical distribution and content licensing.
She has overseen the creation of original series for HBO and HBO Max. Earlier, she led Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Strategy at Time Warner / WarnerMedia, handling key deals and advising multiple CEOs on critical strategic choices.
Priya started her professional journey in investment banking at Citi, focusing on media and telecom clients.

Geoff Cooper also thanked Jonathan Allan, who has been serving as Interim CEO, praising his steady leadership and his efforts in navigating challenging market conditions.
Priya will take up the role in March 2026, with Jonathan Allan continuing as Interim CEO until then.
She will become the eighth Chief Executive to lead Channel 4 in its 43-year history.
