Prachi Mohapatra to handle business planning for JioStar

She led the Star Kiran vertical of Disney Star as their Business Head for more than two years

Prachi Mohapatra has been given the responsibility of business planning for the entire cluster. This appointment comes after the successful establishment of a joint venture between Reliance Industries Limited, Viacom18 Media, and The Walt Disney Company.

Mohapatra is a business leader with a high focus on consumer centricity and works with a high- performance team of sales, marketers, content creators, designers and analysts. Her forte lies in business development, G2M, strategy and ROAS.

Since November 2022, she has led the Star Kiran vertical of Disney Star as their Business Head for more than two years.

Before this, she was the Marketing Head, OTC, Emerging Markets of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories where she took over P&L management, Mergers & Acquisitions, Go to Market Strategy, Portfolio Management, Leading and collaborating with large sized cross-cultural teams.

Mohapatra has also been the CMO of Fashion Big Bazaar, Future Group India from August 2016 to January 2021. Here, she was leading a team of high performing marketer, analysts and visual merchandizers.

In the past, she has also worked with Oriflame Cosmetics, Modicare, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Rich Kwality Pvt Ltd and Universal Spices.

Her Linkedin describes her as an avid traveller, inveterate foodie, story teller and relaxed gardener.
