Hursh Shrivastava has been appointed as Head of Partnerships for the newly formed JioStar entity, following the merger of Reliance Industries Limited and Disney Star. Shrivastava brings over 18 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, and revenue growth across top media firms like Viacom18, Amazon, and Star India.

Shrivastava earlier served as EVP & Head - Strategy & Rights Acquisitions for Viacom18, where he played a pivotal role in expanding sports business partnerships, particularly in digital streaming through JioCinema. His previous roles at Amazon included leading corporate business development and driving strategic initiatives for e-commerce, advertising, and Prime Video in India.

At Star India, he was instrumental in launching new business models and revenue strategies, managing partnerships across both TV and digital platforms. His extensive expertise in fostering alliances and negotiating key content rights is set to be a valuable asset for the JioStar merger as it aims to redefine the Indian media landscape.

Shrivastava’s appointment signals the merged entity's commitment to growth and innovation, positioning it as a leader in content delivery and strategic partnerships in the highly competitive media and entertainment sector.
