After joining ABP News earlier this month as Vice President, News & Programming, the channel has once again placed its trust in the hands of well known anchor-journalist journalist Chitra Tripathi. She will now hosts two big shows, Mahadangal and Janhith.

With her return, ABP News has bolstered its prime-time programming, aiming to strengthen its competitive position in the Hindi news landscape.

Tripathi, known for her sharp political insights and impactful anchoring, has built a formidable reputation over her career. She previously made waves during her earlier stint at ABP News, where she won accolades like the Best Reporter Award for her outstanding coverage of the Siachen conflict.

Mahadangal, which will air at 5 PM today, will bring together leading political voices and analysts to debate and discuss critical national issues.

Meanwhile, Janhith, Tripathi's 9 PM show, focuses on public interest topics, delving into the stories that matter most to citizens. The show examines key societal and policy issues, offering a platform for discussing challenges faced by everyday people.

Chitra Tripathi’s return to ABP News comes at a pivotal time for the network, as it seeks to enhance its viewership and prime-time ratings.

Her track record of hosting successful shows such as 2019 Kaun Jeetega, Press Conference, and Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri has already proven her ability to captivate and connect with viewers. Now, with her focus on these two new programs, Tripathi is expected to further strengthen ABP News’ positioning in the fiercely competitive television news market.
