Bigg Boss leads Urban market; ranks third overall: BARC week 3

Colors’ Bigg Boss bagged the first slot in top five programmes with 8495 Impressions (000s) followed by Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya

Zee Anmol has taken the lead position this week with 736662 Impressions (000s) followed by Star Bharat that bagged the second slot with 691997 Impressions (000s) and Colors on third rank with 617050 Impressions (000s), according to week 3 of the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) all India ratings.

Zee TV’s prime time dramas Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya continued to lead the top five programme list. The shows bagged the first and second slots with 12549 Impressions (000s) and 11121 Impressions (000s) respectively. 

Colors’ Bigg Boss was at third slot with 10611 Impressions (000s) followed by Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya on fourth with 10440 Impressions (000s) and Star Bharat on fifth with Nimki Mukhiya at 9586 Impressions (000s). 

Sony Pal and Zee TV stood at number four and five ranks with 612393 Impressions (000s) and 605654 Impressions (000s) respectively. 

Hindi GEC Urban 

Colors continued to dominate the urban Hindi GEC market with 453621 Impressions (000s) followed by Zee TV on second spot with 366742 Impressions (000s) and Star Bharat on third with 339070 Impressions (000s).

Colors Bigg Boss bagged the first slot in top five programmes with 8495 Impressions (000s) followed by Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya on second and third slots with 7884 Impressions (000s) and 6704 Impressions (000s) respectively. Sab TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah stood on fourth position with 6288 Impressions (000s) and Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata came fifth with 5870 Impressions (000s). 

Star Plus and Sony Entertainment Television stood on fourth and fifth slots with 333222 Impressions (000s) and 304688 Impressions (000s) respectively. 

Hindi GEC Rural 

Zee Anmol garnered the leadership position with 562416 Impressions (000s) followed by Sony Pal on second spot with 419826 Impressions (000s) and Star Utsav on third with 394693 Impressions (000s).

In the rural market, Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya bagged 8385 Impressions (000s) followed by Sony Pal’s Baalveer on second spot with 7023 Impressions (000s) and Rishtey’s Tere Naal Ishq with 6886 Impressions (000s). Sony Pal’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and CID bagged fourth and fifth spots with 6509 Impressions (000s) and 6293 Impressions (000s)

Star Bharat stood on number four with 352927 Impressions (000s) and Rishtey bagged the fifth spot with 329434 Impressions (000s).
