BARC Week 21: Zee continues to dominate across markets

Zee Anmol in overall and rural market witnessed a drop in ratings while Zee TV saw rise in week 21.

Zee Anmol continued to dominate the overall market. The channel saw a dip in ratings this week and registered 890491 Impressions (000s) against 912883 Impressions (000s) in week 20. While Rishtey has witnessed a hike in ratings at second position with 686253 Impressions (000s) against 679799 Impressions (000s). Sony Pal too witnessed a rise in ratings and has maintained its third spot with 600487 Impressions (000s) against 571922 (000s), according to week 21 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India.

Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya continued to lead the top five list of programmes and bagged first spot with 12916 Impressions (000s) followed by Zee TV’ Kundalu Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya on second and third with 10642 Impressions (000s) and 10387 Impressions (000s). Zee TV’s another offering Ishq Subhan Allah grabbed the fourth spot with 8353 Impressions (000s) and Zee Anmol’s Mahek stood at number five with 8090 Impressions (000s) respectively.

Hindi GEC Urban

Zee TV continued to garner the leadership position this week as well in urban market. The channel registered 350371 Impressions (000s). Star Plus on second spot recorded 304837 impressions (000s) followed by Colors on third spot with 280387 Impressions (000s). Sab TV and Star Bharat garnered fourth and fifth spots with 267954 Impressions (000s) and 262389 Impressions (000s) respectively.

Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya, Kumkum Bhagya bagged first and second slot with 6429 Impressions and 6267 Impressions (000s). Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai stood at number three with 5355 Impressions (000s) followed by Zee TV Ishq Subhaan Allah on fourth with 5331 Impressions (000s). Sab TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma grabbed fifth spot with 4439 Impressions (000s).

Hindi GEC Rural

Zee Anmol continued to lead the market with a dip in ratings, it registered 693256 Impressions (000s) against 706441 Impressions (000s) in week 20 followed by Rishtey on second slot with 494151 Impressions (000s) and Sony Pal was on the third spot with 408599 Impressions (000s). Star Utsav and Star Bharat stood on the fourth and fifth slots with 334321 Impressions (000s) and 301343 Impressions (000s), respectively.

Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya bagged the first spot with 10357 Impressions (000s), followed by Mahek on the same channel grabbing second spot with 6517 Impressions and Sony Pal’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma stood on number three with 4913 Impressions (000s). Zee Anmol Ganga and Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya stood at fourth and fifth slots with 4534 Impressions and 4213 Impressions (000s) respectively.
