Senior journalist Prabha Jagannathan has passed away, leaving the media fraternity saddened by her loss. The Press Club of India (PCI) expressed its grief, remembering her as a committed and principled journalist whose work and values left a lasting impact.

The PCI stated that her dedication to journalism and to the fraternity will not be forgotten, and extended its condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time.

With a journalism career spanning over three decades, Jagannathan worked with several leading publications, including The Economic Times, The Telegraph, The Week, and Sunday Mail, among others. She was widely respected for her fearless reporting and strong adherence to ethical journalism.

Madhavan Narayanan, expressing his shock at her sudden passing, described her as an “amazing soul and a sincere journalist committed to development issues,” adding that she had a profound love for animals and compassion for people.
