Renowned sports journalist Ravi Kant Singh passed away on Thursday. He was around 64 years old. Ravi Kant Singh made significant contributions in the field of journalism during his long and illustrious career. Singh was also a well-known name in the field of radio and television.
Ravi Kant Singh covered many important events in Delhi and other cities and made his mark in the field of radio and television. His writing and news presentation gave him a special identity in the media world. His spontaneity, dedication and passion for journalism made him popular among his colleagues and readers.
In his career, he worked for 'The Times of India', ESPN Star Sports, and Star India Private Limited. After this, he remained active as a commentator and producer for various sports independently. Ravi Kant, who studied at Kirori Mal College of Delhi University, completed his schooling at St. Michael's High School in Patna.
Expressing grief over the demise of Ravi Kant Singh, his acquaintances and well-wishers have paid tribute to him and prayed for the strength of his family to bear this loss. Ravi Kant's colleague and senior journalist Kannan (@kannandelhi) shared the information of his death on Twitter and said that he knew Ravi Kant since 1987, when he himself was working in 'The Indian Express'.
