Ashish Sehgal, Chief Growth Officer, Digital & Broadcast Revenue, Zee Entertainment Enterprise Ltd, has joined the jury board of the e4m Revenue Leaders 40under40 Awards. Sehgal has joined the panel alongside seasoned professional and industry luminaries from the advertising, marketing, and media world. The prestigious award is aimed at recognising young achievers under the age of 40 who have made significant contributions in driving revenue growth in the media, marketing, and advertising industries.
With over two decades of experience in the media sector, Ashish Sehgal has been a key figure in driving growth strategies at ZEEL. His inclusion in the jury board adds immense value to the selection process, as he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in revenue generation, media planning, and business development.
Leveraging the experience, Sehgal conceptualised and implemented a unified revenue-generating vertical in ZEE, with a pure focus on customer and imbibed a platform agnostic approach leading to enhanced revenue generation opportunities for the company.
In his current role as the Chief Growth Officer at Zee Entertainment, Sehgal leads topline delivery for the linear TV business and creates multiple new revenue streams including pioneering partnership businesses. With extensive experience in P&L management, Revenue Strategy, Growth Strategy and Sales Planning, he has delivered market-beating growth year after year, contributing towards making Zee Entertainment into a powerhouse in Indian media.
Sehgal is an experienced media & entertainment industry leader with a history of delivering outsized revenue growth. As the CGO, Sehgal plays a key role in setting the larger strategic direction for the organization in terms of new product development, new market launches, development of Go-to-Market strategy as well as growth opportunity identification.
He started his career with Times Group in 1994. In his previous stints, Ashish was associated with Star India at a National Head Level, before managing the overall network’s sales. Prior to that, he worked at Buena Vista TV.
Ashish Sehgal is also an active member of IBDF and Ad Club of Mumbai as well as a sub-committee member of Mancom, IAA. He is a Commerce Graduate from Delhi University with a Specialised Degree in LLB from Symbiosis and has done a Programme for Strategy & Growth from IIM Ahmedabad.
