Puneet Das, President - Packaged Beverages, India & South Asia, Tata Consumer Products, was awarded The CMO Leadership Award at the Pitch CMO Summit 2025 held in Mumbai this Friday.
With over 20 years of experience in the FMCG industry in India and other international markets such as the Sub-Saharan African region, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar and Sri Lanka, Das has held senior marketing positions at Marico, Pepsico and GSK Consumer Healthcare, Gilette and Pepsico. He has worked on some of the most iconic brands like 7Up, Boost and Horlicks, among others. Das worked at Ola briefly before joining Tata Consumer Products.
At Tata Consumer Products, Das drives growth strategy, outcomes and profit & loss for the packaged beverages category in India. He is also responsible for the overall business in Bangladesh and the Organic India Business.
Previously, he has set objectives and developed short & mid-tern strategies to increase revenue, market share, profitability and long-term brand value for Tata’s tea portfolio in India.
Das had led teams with strategic marketing direction to increase brand awareness, loyalty, market share and profitability while achieving the top-line plans for the year in sync with the company’s objectives.
The Pitch CMO Summit - Mumbai 2025 brought together India’s most reputed brands and top marketing leaders to interact and share insights on their game-changing success stories under one roof. The theme of this edition of the conference was ‘Future-Ready Brands: Navigating the Multi-Path Consumer Journey’.
