Pharma giant Gilead Sciences has awarded Publicis its U.S. media account following a review that began earlier this year, according to media reports.
The account had been with Interpublic Group of Cos. before Omnicom acquired the holding company.
The account was put on review in April this year.
Gilead is known for its HIV-related brands including Emtriva and Complera. It markets many other products including Tamiflu and medicines related to liver diseases, oncology, cardiovascular and other areas.
