  • Nestlé India reported strong financial results for the March quarter of FY26, with revenue from operations reaching Rs 6,747.8 crore, a 19.1% sequential increase and a 22.6% year-on-year rise.
  • Profit before tax for the quarter rose 31.4% sequentially to Rs 1,509.4 crore, while net profit increased 11.3% from the previous quarter to Rs 1,110.9 crore.
  • For the full financial year, revenue from operations totaled Rs 23,154.6 crore, a 14.6% increase year-on-year, but total expenses grew 16.1%, impacting profit margins.
  • Despite cost pressures, full-year net profit was Rs 3,499.1 crore, up 9.1% from the previous year, with earnings per share increasing to Rs 18.15.

Nestlé India ended FY26 on a strong note, with robust double-digit growth in the March quarter translating into solid gains in both revenue and profit, even as cost pressures weighed on full-year margins.

The company reported revenue from operations of Rs 6,747.8 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2026, marking a 19.1 percent sequential rise over Rs 5,667.0 crore in the December quarter and a 22.6 percent increase compared to Rs 5,503.9 crore in the year-ago period. Total income for the quarter stood at Rs 6,766.2 crore, up 19.1 percent quarter-on-quarter and 22.7 percent year-on-year.

Profitability saw a sharper uptick. Profit before tax rose 31.4 percent sequentially to Rs 1,509.4 crore and was up 26.6 percent year-on-year. Net profit came in at Rs 1,110.9 crore, growing 11.3 percent over the previous quarter and 27.2 percent compared to the same period last year. Earnings per share stood at Rs 5.77, up 11.6 percent sequentially and 27.4 percent year-on-year.

The March quarter performance was aided by a relatively slower rise in expenses compared to revenue. Total expenses increased 11.8 percent sequentially to Rs 5,217.5 crore, while on a yearly basis they were up 21.1 percent. This differential expansion supported margin improvement during the quarter.

For the full financial year ended March 31, 2026, Nestlé India reported revenue from operations of Rs 23,154.6 crore, registering a 14.6 percent increase over Rs 20,201.6 crore in FY25. Total income rose 14.5 percent year-on-year to Rs 23,194.9 crore.

However, cost pressures were more pronounced over the full year. Total expenses grew 16.1 percent to Rs 18,706.1 crore, outpacing revenue growth. As a result, profit before tax rose at a relatively moderate pace of 5.7 percent year-on-year to Rs 4,564.1 crore.

Net profit for the year stood at Rs 3,499.1 crore, up 9.1 percent from Rs 3,207.6 crore in the previous financial year. Earnings per share also increased 9.1 percent year-on-year to Rs 18.15.

The numbers indicate a strong finish to the year with momentum in the March quarter, even as the full-year performance reflects the impact of elevated input and operating costs on margins.
