The survey has put Modi ahead of actor Akshay Kumar and Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli in motivating the youth to stay fit.
While Akshay has managed to be on the second position, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev is on the third place.
Kohli and former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni are in the fourth and fifth positions respectively. While actor Ranveer Singh in seventh, Tiger Shroff has been ranked ninth in the survey.
Anup Sharma, an independent political campaign strategist and mentor at The Lentils Institute, shared some insights on how Modi has reinvented the idea of health in India. According to Sharma, there was a time when health and fitness brands used to hire celebrities as their face but the idea has completely changed.
Brands have been looking for someone whose personality matches with their brand’s and besides being the PM, Modi has become a brand in himself, Sharma added.
