Marico has ramped up its advertising and sales promotion spends to Rs 299 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2025, marking a 24.6 per cent increase over Rs 240 crore in the same period last year.
This underscores the FMCG company’s continued focus on brand building and consumer engagement. This is marginally lower than the Rs 305 crore spent in the March 2025 quarter.
The company has posted a consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 3,259 crore in Q1 FY26, up 23.3 percent year-on-year from Rs 2,643 crore, and 19.4 percent higher sequentially over Rs 2,730 crore in Q4 FY25. This strong topline momentum translated into improved profitability, with net profit rising to Rs 513 crore, an 8.2 percent increase from Rs 474 crore a year ago and a 48.7 percent jump over Rs 345 crore in the preceding quarter.
Total income for the quarter stood at Rs 3,315 crore, compared to Rs 2,680 crore in Q1 FY25 and Rs 2,777 crore in Q4 FY25. Other income contributed Rs 56 crore, higher than both the year-ago figure of Rs 37 crore and the Rs 47 crore reported in the previous quarter.
