HUL wins ‘Best Advertiser on Mobile of the Year’ award at e4m IDMA 2025

The FMCG giant won 13 metals, including 10 gold metals and 3 silver metals across categories for its impressive work

The exchange4media Group hosted the 16th edition of the Indian Digital Marketing Awards (IDMA) on Thursday in Mumbai. At the spectacular awards night, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) took home the ‘Best Advertiser on Mobile of the Year’ for its outstanding work, creativity and innovation. The FMCG brand won a total of 13 metals including 10 gold metals and 3 silver metals across categories. This award is given to the advertiser who has made the maximum, most effective and creative use of the mobile medium in the year 2024.

At the prestigious awards ceremony, several brands from Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) emerged victorious, showcasing their strength in creativity, innovation, and digital excellence. The company’s diverse portfolio of brands bagged metals across various categories, reaffirming HUL’s commitment to crafting impactful campaigns that resonate with modern consumers. Among the winning campaigns were: ‘Knorr Korean Ramen X Squid Games – Dare to Slurp’ campaign, 'Making fitness a habit with Lipton Green Tea' campaign, 'Closeup Love Tunes' campaign and 'Moti - Making Traditions Trend' campaign, each recognised for their unique and compelling narratives.

The awards night was graced by top industry luminaries, professionals and experts from the digital marketing ecosystem and the media world. Apart from Hindustan Unilever Limited, the other key winners of the night were Mondelez India, that took home ‘Best Digital and Social Media Advertiser of the Year’ honour and Mindshare that bagged the ‘Best Digital, Social Media & Mobile Media Agency of the Year’ award. Meanwhile, Prashant Pitti, Co-founder- EaseMyTrip & Optimo, is ‘IDMA Person of the Year’ and YouTuber Prajakta Koli was awarded ‘Influential Personality of The Year’ honour.

The Indian Digital Media Awards (IDMA) honoured outstanding achievements by brands and agencies, spotlighting creativity, innovation, and impact in the digital space. The awards aimed to recognise the most effective and forward-thinking campaigns that pushed the boundaries of digital marketing. The honours were awarded across eight key categories, each encompassing multiple sub-categories.

The major categories included Web, Mobile and Tablets, Social Media, Search and PPC campaigns, For Small Medium Business, For Start-Ups, Hall of Fame Awards and Special Awards. These segments allowed for a comprehensive evaluation of work across platforms, strategies, and objectives, ensuring a diverse and inclusive celebration of digital excellence.

This year, the e4m IDMA 2025 jury was chaired by Rohit Jawa, CEO & MD – HUL, President – Unilever South Asia, and Member – Unilever Leadership Executive, alongside a stellar panel of industry experts.
